A 1935-S Peace dollar in Very Good (VG-10) is a Very Good coin at the better end of the grade: the hair above Liberty’s eye and the high points of the rays of her crown are smooth as they are at eight, but a little of the eagle’s individual wing feathers and the leaves of the olive branch beneath its talons survives where the design was struck deepest, and LIBERTY across the crown, IN GOD WE TRVST and the date and the rim are bold.
