A 1932-D Washington quarter in Very Fine (VF-20) shows clear detail across the whole design with wear on the raised areas alone: the high points of Washington’s hair above and behind the ear are flattened but still separated from one another, the eagle’s breast and the tops of its wings keep most of their major detail, and LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the date are sharp.
